  1. I know the feeling!!! Sarah loves Peter WAY more than me. She loves me - don't get me wrong. But given the choice, it's daddy all the way.

BUT!!!! you've got another of the way. She'll prefer you and everything will balance out :)

  3. Can I just say that the fact that Miss Chloe has a binky in her mouth & one in her hand cracks me up!

  4. Too cute!! We go through this at home too! I just see it as a message from God that Papa and Shelby need some bonding time. Gives me a little freedom - but I do feel sad!! :( Hang in there little lady!!

  6. My kids don't really tell me to go away but if I leave them with Donny and then come home, they're all happy with him until I walk through the door. Then all h*e*double-hockey sticks breaks loose and within 2 minutes they're all crying and clinging to my legs begging me for something. Thank goodness for children who love their daddies though. :)

  10. i dont know whether to be happy or sad. that's good that they are so close, but you know she adores you. she just likes it when her daddy's home and she gets him all to herself.

  14. Oh! I'm so sorry! I was like this with my mom... but now she's one of my best friends. Does that help? At all?

  15. My little brother is like that and my moms heart breaks when he also says "Go away Mommy" But, when he was smaller, he couldnt say the "G" in "Go" so he would say "Bo away Mommy, Bo away"

    Too cute.

  16. My little girl says "Daddy" all day long and then squeals with joy when he gets home from work. I love it! But I hope I don't hear "go away mommy" when she starts saying sentences. I'm sure I will though.

  17. Maybe you can keep this as ammo, for when she gets older, and you want to say "Go away, Chloe!" (I'm referring to the difficult teen years, of course!)
    Keep smilin' mama! ♥

  19. Ellie already likes her dad better. I think it's just a dad/daughter thing... but when it comes to needing serious comfort, only moms can do the job. That's what I love!

  20. Let me just say that I was the EXACT same way when I was younger. Dad was my favorite person in the entire world and I just wanted Mom to leave us alone! But trust me, as she gets older, her outlook will quickly change. Just look forward to the day when she calls you her best friend :) (Even if it takes seventeen years like it did for my Madre and I!) Miss you Ang!
