Orange you glad...

One of my {very} very favorite things about Christmastime is:
orange season.

I am one of those who {loves} to find a large orange in the toe of my stocking.

I try to have orange slices with every meal possible.

I'll even cut some orange rings when I'm feeling {extra} festive.

My hands smell like oranges 24/7 December-February...

We just purchased a large box o' some Cuties @ Costco.
{Love 'em because they are even easier to peel!}

Yum.

{A cutie for my cutie.}

Happy Wednesday!

  2. oranges are so refreshingly tasty. only problem is . . . why did they have to be orange. just think how cute they'd be if they were pink or red. food for thought. chloe {on the other hand} is cute in any color.

  3. I love the clementines the most! My kids love them too cuz of the easy to peel-ness.

    I have to say that I can go without the orange in the stocking toe though, don't waste the space... Keep them in the fridge and add some cute socks or something to MY stocking:)!

  7. A Rod Stewart poster, of him w/Leapord tights and a flowing white shirt? Will that work?

    Lol!

    Thought not.
    So give me ideas.

    Also, that pic of Chloe... Lovin' it! Cute bangs, cute look, cute bow/thingy. Also, I love the citrus in the winter time as well!

  11. First of all, I love the look on Chloe's face. Second, we discovered the best fruit dip that tastes really good on oranges. Just melt some white chocolate chips. Oh my gosh I love it! Talk about taking a healthy snack & making it just as unhealthy as my normal snacks!

  12. I totally love oranges, too. The only thing I don't like is when they get sticky if you accidently pinch one while peeling. But way to be heathly and eat one with every meal! If you want to indulge a little, take Shalae's advice. Leave it to our family to turn it into sugary, calorie-filled goodness.

  16. I could eat an orange for breakfast, lunch & dinner & still want more! I worked in a Citrus Stand for 3 years & I would get excited EVERY year when it was time to open...just because I knew I could walk in & eat an orange...and kind...any time I wanted!

    I LOVE Chloe's ribbon in her hair!:)

  17. Dang it! I knew I forgot something at Costco today. I didn't want to be late picking up Halleigh from preschool. Those are DELECTABLE. My kids devour them...and so do I. Shalae...do share the recipe of that fruit dip, please. :o) Can I please be as cute as Chloe?

  18. Why oh why did I not discover cuties until this year while we were in Oregon. Where have I been? We just finished a box today that we bought about 3 days ago. :)

  19. I wish there was a candle for my house that smelled as good as peeling an orange. It always reminds me of the smell at Zuka Juice. Fresh, clean & yummy!

  20. Knock knock.

    Who's there?

    Orange.

    Orange who?

    Orange you going to do us a favor and run this card through your card machine?
    Rose, that really is a great name.

    I like oranges too, and asked Philip if we can plant an orange tree as soon as we own some dirt. He said yes. But then when I asked him if we could then transplant that same orange tree every time we moved, so that we could have a mature tree, he said no. I think the only thing I miss about the old house on Vine is our amazing orange tree. I think that is the highlight of the 15+ years that I lived there.
