barker babe

one of the best investments that i have ever made is the purchasing of this dollar-somethin' red tub @ walmart.

chloe really likes to search the house for it, and then...just sit in it. you wouldn't believe the time she spends just chillin' in the bin! it is really funny & {supa} random.

this morning, as i was making our breakfast, chloe went over to the couch, got the remote & hopped in her tub. she then proceeded to turn on the tv & watch herself some price is right. every time the audience applauded, she would do the same. not to mention the squeals of delight as rod invited the contestants to "come on down!" i can only imagine how much more hilarious this experience would have been if they would have played my personal favorite game, plinko.

i like being a mom. a lot.

I think that if everyone had children as cute as your little lady, everyone would love being parents. That toy reminds me a great deal of Oakley's favorite pink shoe lace that he carries all over Sara's house with him.

no matter what, you always win with plinko. try giving her a shoebox. she will love that too!

so i pretty much love reading other people's comments and seeing the time that they sent them. It's good to know that I am not the only one in my skivvies blog stalking in the evening when I should be spending quality time with my husband. Oh well... due the the lack of attention, he has started a blog also :) Now i can stalk to my heart's desire! ps. kind of embarassed about how late we have been blogging tonight! oopsie!

K so that is the cutest thing ever! And I have to say...ever since Dane and Chloe were pushing those tubs around your casa a few weeks ago, he too has been obsessed with getting into anything that remotely looks like a tub...it doesn't matter if he can fit...he still gets in! LOVE IT! And I have to admit that right before Rachael Ray comes on is Family Feud and Dane loves to clap and squeal at that show too. Isn't this the cutest age!??!!??! Boy do I love Chloe!

Thank you, Becky, for reading my mind on the familiar-sounding breakfast. Does this mean you are going to go vegetarian for a week now too? If you do, you=amazing!!

Ang...you are beautiful...it's ok if you had a pepsi and peanut butter cups for breakfast! ;) If I had a pepsi and peanut butter cups right now, that's what I would be eating...OR DP and Snickers...OR MD and Twix...basically Coree = horrible pregnant diet. Go me! LOVE YA! C-ya tonight

Well, uh, "her" (since I'm sure I know who you are talking about) happens to be an amazing wife and mother. I have to say that her desire to feed her family healthy food is inspiring. She is raising 4 wonderful children who have healthy bodies and healthy personalities. I'm sick of people making fun of her for being the kind of wife and mother that all women SHOULD be. Instead, you make fun of her for the impressive role that she takes very seriously as a divine responsibility. Why don't you try praising her efforts instead of tearing them down?

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE!! The entire reason I look at her blog is because I am so incredibly inspired by her!! I feel so badly that I gave the impression that i was making fun...because all i have is respect for this amazingly cute stranger!! I think she has the cutest life & can tell just by looking at her blog that she loves her family, the gospel, and is my hero of being all things domestic!! I've actually emailed her to tell her that several weeks ago! I think that the reason I referred to my breakfast as a joke is because I try to emulate that & i fail. she's not failing...the rest of us are! i am so embarrassed, and totally dying right now slash crying {'cause i do that}, about the fact that i might have inadvertnantly hurt someone's feelings! Please know that soooo wasn't my intention, infact...quite the opposite! perhaps this little mishap o' my blog is a lesson to all of us that people might interpret our comments in a way that they weren't intended! let's be careful girls! life is good! love, ang

i'm NOT trying to make fun either! i'm SO incredibly impressed by her! she is the type of person i wish i could be & i'm SO sorry if it has not come across that way. i am quite jealous of how crafty she is and how cute her life seems to be! i love to look at all the things she comes up with! SO SORRY! i don't know if i can say that enough!

Wow! 19 comments?? You are beyond popular! Don't you love cheap thrills?! I wonder why I buy Carson toys at all. Right now he walks around with an old light switch.

Um, if anything, I wish she would post the recipes to the amazing food she makes every day. Every morning as I eat my pop-tart, I feel mighty guilty knowing that I could be eating so much more healthy like other people..
