the definition of random

here are a few observations/discoveries/exciting things o' my week thus far:

#1 i love ribbon. it makes my angie-heart so amazingly happy. i store my ribbon stash in random jars {sans lids} because i use it like crazy on nearly every layout. hence the reason why on my workshop evaluation cards in last month's simplicity 9 people kindly suggested, "please use something other than ribbon, bows with ribbon, or tying ribbon on ribbon." {lol} what can i say? it's colorful goodness is just irresistible to me!

#2. there are very few things in this world that i love MORE than chloe's bedhead in the morning. the picture says it all...fauxhawk/curly mullet!

#3 so, this granola is {beyond} divine! i am truly passionate about it's delectable, mouth-watering delicious-ness. and a double box is only sixish bucks @ costco. hit it up...you won't be sorry.

#4 this picture = not so appetizing. it is proof that PPS {pet protective services} should be called on the dunn family, stat. seriously, it should be illegal how long it's been since mr. miyagi has been{professionally} groomed. i plan to give a shout out to my friends @ puppy love pet grooming post-posting this novel o' my thoughts. i actually kinda fancy our dog RIGHT after he's been groomed...next day...not so much.

#5 people honk more in higley. it's like the farther east, the crankier the driver! i mean, i know i'm slightly "cautious" behind the wheel...but c'mon, can't we all just get along? {ps: do you like this picture? google road rage...there's some goodies!}
#6 i was reminded yesterday evening upon viewing this flick, that it's gotta be the most charming movie ever. i'll probably watch it again tonight...'cause i do that. i especially appreciate the scene in kathleen's apartment, when joe brings her daisies. aw, does my heart good.

#7 this heavy piece of machinery is typically my nemesis. but me & the tread had a brief reunion early this morning. {it's been a while} and boy did it feel good.

#8 i am gonna be home between 8-12 tomorrow! wanna know why? our tile guy is coming!! that's right...we have a tile guy! yes folks, the time has come. 1300 square feet of this beloved ceramic goodness is expected to arrive sometime next week! {woot, no...woot squared.}

#9 k, so i know that these large holes in my wall & ceiling are scheduled to be patched & what not. honestly, my brain knows this...but my overpowering & somewhat uncontrollable o.c.d. tendencies just cannot handle the eye sore! i might resort to pulling a tim the toolman taylor & doing it myself.

#10 precisely 10 pairs of slacks, one dress, two blouses {hate that word}, and a suit have been chillin' in my trunk for 17.2 days now. do you think it's time to make a trip to the cleaners instead of blogging my life away?

#11 i'm finding that when you only have
ONE show to be obsessed with, instead of approximately 2/night...you can get a lot more accomplished in life. that being said, I miss you jack bauer, tommy donnelley, olivia benson, simon cowell, micheal scott, jim halpert, earl, dr. cox, and other fictional characters that i know & love. can't wait for re-run season to be behind us!

#12...hafta end on an
even number...blogging is fun, and sometimes {okay, usually} i get carried away!!

thanks for being my e-friends!

Oh how I love, no make that LOVE references to all of our favorite old school television life! A few of my favorites: Tim the Toolman Taylor, Al Borlin, Danny Tanner, Jesse Katsopolis, Joey Gladstone, Steve Urkel, Carl, Harriete and Laura Winslow...you just can't go wrong! Have a Have Mercy Day!

Oh and forgot to say that I love your tile! Our tile guy is actually coming today too to measure our house! Not quite 1300 feet since that is bigger than our entire house, but a mere 400, and I think that we might even be getting the same tile as you, if not, very similar. We are practically twins! Oh, and since we are bosom buddies (gross word, I know :)) maybe you can come and decorate the rest of my house so it can be as Angelicious as yours!

Wow...congrats on the new tile...you should have told me they were coming so soon, I would have thrown you a tile shower! lol People could have brought you pinesol and swiffer sweepers and rugs and stuff. I'm excited to see it! Also...I was laughing throughout your whole blog...you crack me up. I wish Dane's bed head was as hot as Chloe's. So cute.

Love the post! Don't worry about your dry cleaning...it will get done someday! Blogging is journaling & journaling is more important than laundry:)

Oh how I miss all the good TV shows, but I too have SO much more time this summer, since NOTHING is on TV! EXCEPT...So You Think You Can Dance!!!!

I love the ribbon jars! I just want to put them in my house as decor! I totally want to see a picture of your entire scrapbook room! From the pictures it looks like heaven! Is every room in your house this organized!? I love it!! Thanks for the granola info..I love cereal in the mornings (gotta love the walmart skim milk to go along with it)! I'll be making a trip here to Costco in the very near future since we are living on just a couple rolls of TP...yeah, can't let that run out! Me and the treadmill have become reacquainted recently...though nothing seems to be happeneing...meaning me and the scale are becoming more and more distant friends! Ok, so we're really enemies! I so want new tile...white (1980's) tile in our kitchen--not too kid/spill friendly. You'll have to tell me who your tile guy is...maybe we'll give him a call someday. Well I guess it is time to stop blogging when I just got up to notice my son has COVERED our white bed sheets with his beautiful sword drawings (they look nothing like swords...just scribbling EVERYWHERE (pray David gets home from Scout Camp SOON so I won't go copmletely insane) Later! Happy Wednesday!

I still can't believe you have a dog (let alone one you take to the "dog salon"). I LOVE it! Way to run girl. When I get in town well have to go running together. We should hit up the stalker route for old school times.

I'm cracking up because I just told my husband the same thing about accomplishing so much more since the only thing I watch in the summer is So You Think You Can Dance!

Ribbon makes me so happy too! It's apparent in the way I did Amelia's guestbook. I will do a post on that someday. Halleigh & Chloe are twinners with sweet bedheads. So funny! I love Chloe. I'm a SYTYCD addict too. And, by the way, you deserve to blog because I've never seen a more organized person than you and your posts show evidence that you do get stuff done! Stop feeling guilty about blogging!

Yep, you're still the cutest! One frownie face though, pumpkin cereal? Really? I don't know about that one. But everything else....so, so cute. AND, puh-leaze people, not loving ribbon? And you call yourselves scrapbookers? :)

FYI I would never leave an anti-ribbon comment on your cards from your class. I heart ribbon! Tonight I took my "I have to be a mom to my family and it's not fun" rage and turned it into non-rage by buying 31 yards of ribbon at work. And it's not even for me. And the only reason I stopped is because my bag ripped.

p.s. Lesli is my favorite person ever!!!

I love it. Random lists are SO much fun! Aren't they? :0)

I have to tell ya, that magazine you've got propped up on that wonderful machine is my absolute FAVE! Nothing better than a little Real Simple read. Lol!

So listen how chubby I am. I didn't realize that the treadmill was what it was, I thought it was a BBQ. Obviously, I don't see them as regularly as I should and the first logical thought is food. :) Whaaa!
