i spent the day shopping at the mall.
[bad idea.]
i was in search of something cute to wear.
something that didn't make me feel frumptastic.
i was even willing to spend 2-weeks-worth of my
[just for angie] money-envelope
to have one shirt, or one pair of pants,
or one freaking earring...{i didn't care}...
that made me feel {somewhat} cute again.
long story short,
i'm 5 ft 3 & my proportions are very strange right now.
doesn't matter what size...doesn't fit right.
*so frustrating.
we left with wetzel prezel for the girls.
the rest of the afternoon i longed for my pre-kid-2005 body.
before c-sections & stomach muscles that don't work.
before stretch marks.
before stress eating & being too exhausted to exercise.
before mornings that i only had 1 person to make cute, instead of 3.
BUT!
i just ran across this little gem.
sweet little livy in my tummy,
just before her legit-birthday last year.
ya,
totally worth it.

hey ang, we must be related, cuz i have the same problem. i don't want to know what's going to happen to me down the road. it's already hard...just know that you are not alone. :)
i love that video!! i tried to take a video on my stomach but i think he got camera shy. right when i turned it off though he went nuts.
i hope you know, you inspire me. every time i read your blog.
freals.
Ang: I'll go shopping with you, and TRUST ME, I will have you in something FANTASTIC! Say how much you want to spend, and I will find it for you. I'm off ALL NEXT WEEK. WOO HOO!!!
Thanks for the perspective, Angie. I needed it today! Totally crying...
Hey love, I linked to you on MMB today. Hope you don't mind. :)
i'm having the same problem right now with my 3 months prego...haven't gained any weight yet...but only like 2 pairs of pants fit me and i feel so fat i only want to wear baggy shirts so i have like 5 outfits to choose from. one of which i term "cute". bleh. it's only going to get worse...haha
it's so cute when babies move and kick and you can just SEE the belly move. love it!
I've got the same struggles going on right now.
Try finding that CUTE shirt...wearing it out & running into someone, only to have them congratulate you on being prego. Now my favorite shirt is not my favorite anymore.
I'm just gonna be happy...cuz I've got 2 kids to show for my rubbery stomach & stretch marks;)
I hate those days. Hate, hate hate them.
It is worth it. Of course, the kids are worth it. But that doesn't make it less hard!
If you ever need a shopping partner, I love doing that. I don't know if you could stand the thought of shopping with four little girls, but if you need backup then give me a call!
Thanks for the reminder, I needed it :)
I am so with you girl! I love your guts and you are beautiful...always. HUGS!
I just love you....I so understand the belly thingie ma bob...with five c-sections under my belt and lack of energy.....yep that tummy is rolled up right under and over the belt....you are too cute and yes it is worth it even when they grow up and act ugly towards you....it is still worth ...it is still worth it...it is still worth it...I will keep telling myself that....trying real hard to believe it......
I'm not sure why I'm just finding your blog through Holly. I've been reading the rest of your families. Please forgive me. :) This has been me this last month in search of a pair of pants. They are worth it! Thanks for sharing.
