one thing i try to do as a mom,
is just let my kids be kids.
and sometimes that means
really big, creative, messes
filled with imagination.
huge, wonderful, crayon and pony filled messes
that take like a hour+ to clean up.
it's the happiest disaster ever.

I totally agree with you on that one!
Agreed...it's a happy mess, right?
can i join her?
she looks like she's having fun :) much more fun than me!
so fun! my mylie would have a blast with chloe. :)
That reminds me a lot of Angie Pooh Barbie Doll world! :) You're such a good mommy.
Eve's room often looks just like that. I hate it. Am I allowed to say that? But I try to let it be.
I clean a mess just like that every day--even down to the Strawberry Shortcake house! Maybe it's the age. . . :)
I'm thinkin' before she settled in to color, she lined up all the ponies and put them down for a nap. Love her and her nurturing little spirit and flamboyant imagination!
ahhh, this reminds me of days gone by! I love all the pink. I miss that!
Fun stuff! As it should be :)
have i ever told you i want to be just like you?!
{okay. i know i have...}
You are the best. I use to love getting all of my kids wooden puzzles and dumping all of them in the middle of the floor and seeing how fast we could put them all back together on the right boards. So much fun.
She makes me smile!
I love this picture- just what being a little girl should look like!
Agreed. I need to think like this more often. -- I often revel in the imaginary world kids come up with. It amazes me; and I get pretty jealous of it, actually.
One of these days I'm totally joining in on one of their "trips" and letting them lead the way.
Soon.
Because jealousy isn't cute. ;)
