messy girlfriend

this, my friends, is one of my least favorite things on the face of the planet.

{aka, remains of meal thrown overboard-highchair onto the freshly mopped tile}

and no, mr. miyagi doesn't like breakfast food.

and this, my friends, is one of my very FAVORITE things on the face of this planet.

{aka, the culprit.}

gotta love 'er.

{happiest wednesday!}

OH dang! i am not a fan of food overboard and thankfully our dogs love whatever is available on the floor! easy for me. all i have to do is call them in the house and they clean up ! and back out they go! FABULOUS!

Angie, that is TOO true! Love the kids, hate the mess. Remember the pre-kid days where sweeping was almost optional? :)

My favorite quote was from a lady in RS: "Some people brag about how you could EAT off their floors. - Well, you COULD eat off MY floors... You could eat there for a WEEK!" LOL!

Hey! I have a girl like that too! Brooklyn wasn't into the throwing of food as much as she was into using it as shampoo. Yogurt was her favorite "product". I would be busy with Davin for a sec and hear her say... "Mommy I make a mess!!" Awesome. Luckily we're semi getting over that stage, and I've discovered the coolest bib with a really cool pocket that catches most food that otherwise would end up on the floor. When it falls into the pocket, its still fair game! YAY!

Why do children feel the need to throw food overboard!? It drives me NUTS! If I witness such events, Carson gets his hands wiped off and put in time out. I'm such a mean mom.

I hate over thrown food too. You need to buy this bowl{that can also change into a plate}. It's the coolest thing ever. It suction cups to the surface your child is eating off of...so they can't chuck it. They can still throw they food out of the dish with their hands, I guess, but it cuts down a lot on the food on the floor. They sell them at Shar's bosch on Gilbert between baseline and guadalupe. You should check it out. They also have cooking lessons there every wednesday night. She cooks the best food. I love going to her classes.

haha, sucks to have a picky eater for a dog huh? But it's fun to have a flippin cutie for a babe. HI CHLOE, WE MISS YOU!!!

honestly, it does my heart good to know that chloe, who is always the poster child for cleanliness when i've seen her, is capable of making a mess. does my heart good. btw . . . thanks for the tip on where to get the wrapping paper and i probably RAN to ikea today and they are out of it. plus the people there are not friendly and/or very nice about helping or going to look if they have more in the stock room. AND they make you pay for bags to carry out the stuff you just BOUGHT there. don't know if i'll go back, except they are putting out their christmas stuff and i might have bought some.

I hope you have a super rest of the week hun.

And p.s. Yes, it is an amazing feeling to know that the person you love has only your best interest at heart. It makes all the craziness in life feel a little less crazy. Or hard, I should say. He loves me for me, and that's friggin' awesom!

I too hate the mess, but love the cute children. Addi is really good at this little trick!

"Creepy" would be me who started this E-Friend relationship in the first place...whatever!!!

Stop with the Orange Candy picture...I have a total weakness for Halloween Wrapped candy or colors. I have these jars filled with them and when Mark comes home it is empty. I totally blame it on the kids but they never cover for me!!!

Love the food-slinging stage. The 10 second rule applied all through that stage in my kids lives. Now I make them clean it up. Silver lining in the distance!!!

Love your blog...sorry.

That is funny...when Kiley does that, I'm not sure whether to say, "No no Kiley" or say nothing at all...she laughs both times-which makes me laugh too
