1} Elder
And I couldn’t be more excited!
2} I plan to repeat “Ooooo, these mashed potatoes are so creamy” {in the voice of Midge Callaghan} @ Thanksgiving dinner, [at least five times].
3} Myron turns 28 years of age, two days after Thanksgiving. Like, as in, he’ll be 40 in 12 years. Weird.
4} The asthmatic & the slightly overweight {aka, Myron & I} are pumped to run the two mile fun run @ the
5} Christmas décor is set to be busted out on Monday, November 26th. Christmas tree is set to be busted out when I am convinced that Chloe & Mr. Miyagi won’t be in pine-needle/ornament-playtime-heaven 24/7.
6} Elf DVD will start being played on repeat ASAP, [perhaps during naptime.]
7} Thanksgiving weekend in a nutshell: Eat pie, bake yummy rolls, love carbs, chill w/ fun fam, finish Christmas cards, work puzzles {it’s tradish}, enjoy Utah company lots, inevitably cry tears of joy, lots of QT-runs, watch football {GO ASU!}, and sleep, and then eat some more stuffing.

i love thanksgiving, too. you have lots to be thankful for and so do i. one thing, though, it's not the last thursday {of november} this year. who knew? oh, well . . . more time for christmas decorations! hip, hip, hooray . . .
I totally agree best month ever. And one of my all time favorite's! while you were sleeping! Good luck on the Turkey trot! I bet you could run the 10k this year, you should just try running six miles one of these days,(before thanksgiving) take it slow and bring lots of water, I bet you'd be surprised that you could do it. I'm rootin' for you!
super exciting good times ! love November!
My birthday is a week from today...let's not forget to add that to the greatness of November! J/K, kinda. HOW EXCITING IS IT THAT ERIC IS COMING HOME?!!! I am so so so excited for you (hence the all caps), just because I love Eric, and you being his sister/twin, know how eciting this moment will be! Seriously, I can't even describe how fun this will be! I'm almost jealous. That's all.
Oh, and LOL to sending Myron's text three times. I totally got out of the habit, plus the fact that I refuse to abbreviate any words, so I am next to the slowest typer in the world.
aren't the Holidays the BEST!!! I really should be anorexic for October because I more than make up for it in Nov and Dec but who can't?! Way to run the Turkey trot!! Props to you :)
ps glad you like your pics :)
love november food! hate that it's 09 degree here still. what kind of fall weather is that? but it sounds like a busy month for all. good luck with all the up coming stuff. can't wait to hear more about them all. miss you and chloe lots. i need to plan on coming down to the store when you're teaching your class so you can meet cami. see you then.
What a perfect time of the year for your brother to come home! I'm counting down the days I get to eat my Grandma Davis's turkey dressing. I don't care for the turkey, pumpkin pie, potatoes or whatever. Just want a big plateful of that dressing w/ gravy and a couple o' rolls to soak up the excess gravy. I heart T-Day. Props to you for running at all on Thanksgiving! You can do it!!!
How exciting that your brother is coming home so soon. Man that went way fast. Sounds like you're going to have an awesome Thanksgiving.
I tend to keep ELF in the DVD player as often as possible during this season as well. Way to go for running! I wish I was a runner-I definitely married into a running fam. Oh, Midge, love it! Exciting that your bro/twinner gets home soon!
Angie-I LOVE the movie, "While you were Sleeping" It's a definite holiday tradition. We also always say....these mashed potatoes are so creamy at EVERY holiday event. Too too funny!
Haha, us too! Actually, almost every family dinner hears, "these mashed potatoes are so creamy." Followed ALWAYS with, "MARY Mashed 'em..."
You have just made me super-excited for Thanksgiving. Thanks!
I love November, but why is it still so freakin' hot?! It's throwing me off a bit. Don't worry I'll be all decked out for Christmas later this week for the 'ol Holiday Open House! Thanks for commenting on my blog. Glad you'll be there! So far it's you and me. :) We'll see what kind of turn out I get. More yummy food for us. Ha.
I'm super super excited for Thanksgiving this year too. I think, um, I want to do the 2-mile thing with ya'll! I'll have both kids so I'll be pushing a large wheeled vehicle as well so that might slow me down (ha! like I was going to be running anyway!)
this was fun to read.
love the sweetness your post brought! so happy for your family. welcome home elder! love elf, mashed potatoes, and the run. i will think of you. i am running our turkey trot this sat.
happy post. you happy girl. love, cori
you just made me SUPER excited for thanksgiving! i sure hope it cools down at least 20 degrees in a week, that would be perfect!
Can't wait! It will be extra fun this year. Spudud signed us up yesterday...for the six mile! :) I hope I get back before ED gets home. hahahahahaha!
Dang. I totally would run with you, if it weren't like the day BEFORE I'm going to be gracing the great state of AZ. Wow. I can't even begin to describe my excitement level at this point. This comment is a novel. I was just laughing really hard thinking about the Bill Pullman fantasies and about how much I HEART Pushing Daisies. I had a dream about it last night, that's how much. Wahoo! Counting down!
Good luck with the turkey trot. You will do great! Happy Holidays to you and your whole family with your brother coming home, it's sure to make the Holidays more special.
Good for you and the TT! Maybe next year I'll be that ambitious. The Elf is on repeat in our place of residence all year round! Amen to loving this month, it rocks! Hurry home ED!
Aw what great mornings you have. I'm not a morning person either. Boston use to sleep in 'till 8:30am every morning until the babe was born. Now they both get up at
7:30 blah! What in the world does the green goo do?
