well, uncle sam brought me the stomach flu for the 4th.
so, a super sunny shot of bowie in the park is all we got, folks.
{sadly, we missed out on the happenin' dixon bbq.}
*but, luckily last week, when we were driving home from the mall, we spotted leisure world's early-ish fireworks show...pulled over in the parking lot & enjoyed a few moments of independence day festivity as a fam.
{as chloe gleefully belted twinkle, twinkle from her car seat.}
i'm stinkin' grateful for this country.
land of the free.
home of the brave.
a special thanks to our fore-fathers...
you rock my world.
God bless the usa, times five.
{happy belated independence day!}

The 4th is tricky in Arizona even without the stomach flu! I'm glad you are better. Here's to October! (when we really should celebrate independence from the heat)

That stinks to be sick. My family had the flu a few weeks ago out of six people two of us made it out safe. Hope all is well now. Thanks for the kind word on my blog. I think Trace is cute too. Growing up to fast though.
That's sad you were sick for the special day. I hope you're feeling better now.
Sorry about being sick...thats awful! Glad you did get to see a little bit of the fireworks though! :)
Your little girl is the sweetest!
You may me smile, Ang, even when you are sick. I'm glad that you are feeling better!
Is that a good "nope" or a bad "nope"??
♥
Sorry to hear you were sick. No fun.
Stomach flu = no fun! That's a total bummer. I haven't seen you in forever! I ran by the store today hoping I'd see you, but no luck. Maybe next time!
Alright, this is copied and pasted from the ridiculously long comment that I left on Alisse's blog.
So, is it safe to say that I'm not the only one that cried in the last episode? I think that I was the only one in America that loved Jesse! I was positive that she would pick Jason though so I was kind of ticked watching it until the very end, when Jason started to get down, and she stopped him...!!!... Maybe I screamed out loud, I don't know, it was just awesome! I think that they are adorable, and I liked that Jesse was super nervous about the whole thing and I was kind of sick of Jason thinking that he had the whole thing in the bag. Oh, and I liked the ring that Jesse picked better than Jason, and I liked his outfit better than Jason's at the last rose deal. Though I do agree, the term "soul mate" was used a bit excessively.
And Joey Gladstone? Now that's funny. So yes, happy tears were shed. I think that I totally fell for him while watching the home town date and he snowboarded down the hill with her on his back. Can you say cutest thing I've seen in my life? And then I got REALLY excited about the fact that my husband has never been snowboarding and that I'll never do something like that...not that I want to though, right?
Anyhoo, sorry you were all sicky. And I'm trying to figure out if the P.S. Nope comment is meaning to be a double negative..? Just a thought!
Sorry to hear you were sick, thats not any fun! HOpe you are feeling better, and what a great picture of the girlie, she's a doll!

Angie:
Get to updating this blog. You are MISSED.
SPEAKING of pregnancy, I had a dream two nights ago that I delivered 8 lbs (EACH) twins - a little boy and girl. I was HUGE.
Now, that's CRAZY. I know that I gave my baby boy my mother's maiden name. My baby girl - I was still deciding.
NUTS.
Are you posting next week's pages on your blog? ;)
