my own little corner

today i am grateful to have a place in my home to be creative.

it's cozy & far more functional than pretty....i love it so much.

i'm thankful for a husband that supports & encourages my love of crafting.

...and who's willing to eat dinner on tv trays because my latest project is strewn out all over creation.

....and who doesn't hate me when he steps on a rouge brad on the floor. {ps: that hurts}

...and who has always made sure i had my own little corner in every house we've lived in.

i love your little corner.

aren't supportive husbands the best?

even if they don't quite "get it", they still "get" that it's important to us.

I love your little corner...it is much cleaner and cuter than my corner. lol One day I will bug the crap out of you and watch everything you do so I can learn a small fraction of your creativity.

Now I have that song "In my own little corner" from Cinderella stuck in my head. Problem is....I don't know all the words....this is a problem.

I think we have matching sewing machines/desks - Bernina circa 1970s? Craftiness is vital to life over here! Mine takes the form of balls of yarn and piles of fabric strewn around the house.

cute! these kind of pictures make me happy! {i think it's all the ribbon} stepping on a brad is way worse than gouging {sp?} under your fingernail trying to open the dang thing! sorry myron!! {but isn't that still better than the banging we used to have to endure for eyelets?! (: }
